Stanley Security Products has expanded its portfolio of access control ID tokens and cards with the launch of a distinctive new range of Stanley Proximity Tokens.

Ergonomically designed and in a choice of seven distinctive colours for easy identification and personal preference, the new attractively shaped tokens are fully interchangeable with Stanley's existing tokens range and are also compatible with Stanley's PAC, Easikey, Oneprox and GDX Indigo proximity readers.

As a cost-effective alternative to the traditional door key, proximity ID tokens are used by millions of people as an easy and reliable means of gaining access to homes, communal areas, places of work and secured access points such as car park barriers and turnstiles.  

Consistent with Stanley's commitment to ensuring highly reliable door reader technology, the new tokens are manufactured using highly sophisticated processes such as double sealed ultrasonic welding to close the housing and special potting protection of the electronic unit for enhanced durability.

Stanley tokens can be programmed into its PAC and GDX residential and commercial access control systems so that the user's movement can be monitored and the building protected. Each Stanley token has a unique ID code and need only be held near a door reader for the code to be read and access granted or denied in less than a second.

The launch of Stanley's new Proximity Tokens comes at a time when a number of cheaper, inferior imported products are being made available in the UK which it is felt could potentially compromise security system integrity and even invalidate variations in installed systems.

As with all Stanley access control and door entry equipment, its tokens come with full UK-wide technical and sales support so they can be easily replaced if lost or stolen and lost tokens can be immediately deleted from the access control system to maintain security.
