ADEPT Minder/Bodyguard is a highly sophisticated, new generation wireless staff protection system that uses the latest digital technology for time-critical messaging, alarm calls, staff location and automatic system integrity monitoring.

Using a computer network, it is suitable for use across single or multiple sites, in environments such as prisons, psychiatric and secure units, hospitals and industry - with all levels of personnel risk, where reliable, time-critical messaging is vital.

The staff protection systems have portables with five alarm options that send the user's name, type of alarm and location to a central controller. Portables nearest to the incident can be alerted as well as other relevant personnel.

In addition the systems offer wireless two-way text messaging with messages of up to 256 characters as well as automatic call confirmation between portables and between the controller and portables as standard. All messages are caller identified and time and date stamped.

As ADEPT Staff Protection uses digital technology, it means that communications are more dependable and up to 150 times faster than conventional paging, guaranteeing a higher level of clarity and integrity. It is also easy to install and expand.

A major advantage of ADEPT is that it is also a call confirmation paging system. Regardless of the size of the system or the number of users, all messages are automatically confirmed. ADEPT also monitors both itself and the portables and reports any faults, ensuring system integrity at all times.

The attractive ADEPT portables feature a large, easy-to-read display and can be held in a specially designed belt holster, which allows the user to read and manually confirm messages and operate the portable without removing it. Portables can be used both indoors and outdoors within site boundaries.
