DECT Lone Worker

This DECT telephones system offers reliable and easy to operate on-site digital communication through cordless telephony for mobile personnel. DECT can also provide security with an optional lone worker protection feature. It ensures that your key personnel are always in touch, wherever they might be on site - not just with their fellow workers, but also with the outside world.

The on-site communication system is flexible and cost-effective and seamlessly integrates with your existing internal telephone system. If there are features you regularly use, such as speed dial or call divert, the DECT phones system will replicate them on your handset. Integration with Blick Aquarius Paging systems enables text messages of up to 32 characters to be sent directly to a DECT handset, even while a call is in progress.

DECT Lone Worker

DECT systems offering extra flexibility for lone workers whose work might place them in hazardous environments.

The on-site system uses digital radio technology and supports up to 128 robust and stylish handsets. The phones are slim and logically laid out, with a large display and keypad and a 99-number memory store. They work indoors and outdoors within site boundaries.

Lone Worker Options

The DECT system offers extra flexibility for lone workers whose work might place them in hazardous environments. By pressing a red button on the alarm handset, a message is sent to either an individual handset or group. Alternatively, the button can generate an internal or external emergency communication by dialing a telephone.

The handset also has a 'personal surveillance' feature. A monitoring signal is sent at preset intervals to the handset and the user is expected to acknowledge this check by pressing the red button. If no answer is received an alarm call will be automatically initiated.

BCL produces integrated messaging systems. All Blick systems are extremely flexible and can be adapted to interface with existing customer infrastructure and emerging requirements. DECT Telephony can be integrated with third party fire alarms, telephone and building management systems.
