The DECT with Aquarius paging digital telephone system, offers reliable and easy to operate, on-site digital telecommunications and paging for mobile personnel.

The system utilises the sophisticated and stylish ADP2 handset that has all the excellent capabilities of the Blick M2 handset with the added benefit of a seamlessly integrated tone and alphanumeric pager.

This system offers your key personnel the ability to communicate by using the handset to make digital telephone calls to fellow workers and the outside world, as well as receive and send tone and alphanumeric text paging messages via an Aquarius paging system. A real benefit is the ability of the handset to receive a paging message even when a telephone call is in progress.

DECT

DECT uses digital radio technology to transmit telephone calls with excellent audio integrity and quality, the handsets integrate with your existing telephone system and can be easily expanded to have up to 128 handsets on a single system.

Aquarius Paging

The Aquarius radio pager incorporated into the handset is part of the Aquarius range of pagers designed for medium to large organisations where it is essential to send tone and text messages quickly. It is suitable for onsite messaging in environments such as hospitals, hotels, commercial organisations, education and industry. It can even be configured to operate across multiple sites through inter-site coupling via a dedicated landline.

As the Aquarius paging system uses radio-based messaging technology, it is easy to install and maintain. The alphanumeric pager in the handset works indoors and outdoors within site boundaries. The handset can send tone only messages or, with its keyboard, can store up to 40 pre-programmed text messages, ready for sending to an individual pager or groups of pagers.

Handsets

The handsets are slim and logically laid out, with a large display and keypad and a 65 number memory store. Features that you regularly use, such as speed dial, mute or call divert, are available on the handsets as is a telephone book and an optional facility to send and receive text messages.

Integration

All Blick paging and DECT systems are extremely flexible and can be adapted to interface with most existing customer infrastructure and emerging requirements. They can be integrated with third party fire alarms and building management systems.

Typical System

A typical system consists of: third party internal telephone system, DECT transmitting infrastructure, cordless handsets, battery chargers, a paging console, paging transmitting infrastructure and a telephone interface.
