ADEPT Evacuation Manager is an innovative emergency messaging system that revolutionises the management of major workplace incidents. It is faster, more flexible and more dependable than current technologies, ensuring a higher level of communication during an incident, in order to stage phased or simultaneous building evacuation. The system offers fire and evacuation solutions to a wide variety of structures, including tall buildings, commercial organisations, leisure complexes and sporting arenas.

 

ADEPT allows assessment of the status of an emergency prior to initiating a building evacuation and has the capacity to send and receive multiple emergency communications simultaneously.

The system is managed by a control computer which displays a mimic diagram of the building to show real-time evacuation status. Evacuation is co-ordinated using two-way communication with Emergency Control Officers, who report the status of the ongoing evacuation until personnel are in a safety zone. The officers carry ADEPT portables that can be fitted with a number of alarms.

In addition the system offers two-way text messaging with messages of up to 256 characters as well as automatic call confirmation between portables and between the controller and portables as standard. All messages are caller identified and time and date stamped. The system can also report the locations of portables.

As ADEPT uses digital technology, it means that communications are more dependable and up to 150 times faster than conventional paging, guaranteeing a higher level of clarity and integrity. It is also easy to install and expand.

A major advantage of ADEPT is that it is also a call confirmation paging system. All messages are automatically confirmed, regardless of the size of the system or the number of users. ADEPT also monitors both itself and the portables and reports any faults, ensuring system integrity at all times.

The attractive ADEPT portables feature a large, easy-to-read display and can be held in a specially designed belt holster, which allows the user to read and manually confirm messages and operate the portable without removing it. Portables can be used both indoors and outdoors within site boundaries.

All Blick systems are extremely flexible and can be adapted to interface with existing customer infrastructure and emerging requirements. ADEPT Evacuation Manager can be integrated with third party fire alarms, telephone and building management systems.
