Datacall Gemini IR provides an infra red staff protection solution. The system uses infrared technology to provide a simple and effective alarm system that allows personnel to send calls for assistance and register their location. It is ideal for low-to-medium risk personnel environments, such as hospitals, healthcare, education and industry.

The key to the system is the compact alarm transmitter worn by staff. To call for assistance they simply press a button or, in an emergency, pull the transmitter from its belt clip. An infrared signal is transmitted to strategically placed ceiling receivers that relay the alarm and location to the controller. This system is often complemented with pagers from the Blick Aquarius paging range.

The system uses cost-effective and easy to install infrared technology. Gemini IR is an onsite communication system and mobiles can only be used indoors within site boundaries.

A typical system consists of: Controller or control computer and software, infrared transmitting and staff location infrastructure, wall mounted message displays, mobiles and Aquarius pagers.
