The PAC Mifare® Access Reader is Contactless Smart Card reader designed with the practical site installation requirements in mind, such as high traffic areas where a medium security level is specified.

Concealed fixings allow the reader to be mounted directly on to a flush surface single gang (and single gang UK) back box, providing a fast and simple solution to many site requirements.

 

The PAC Mifare® Access Reader is a low profile, robust, epoxy filled unit that is built to withstand the harshest of environments and operations. It can be installed in new sites or as an upgraded reader to existing proximity access control systems; interfacing with whatever data output is required for your system. The reader is preset with specific keys and only a valid Smart card with matching keys can be read by the reader ensuring that the system cannot be compromised.

 

The reader incorporates a LED and buzzer that can be configured within the security system to provide visual and audible feedback for confirmation on access control modes.
