 The PAC Mifare® Access Reader is contactless Smart card reader designed with the practical site installation requirements in mind, such as high traffic areas where a medium security level is specified.
The unit is stylish as well as functional with the mullion shape allowing easy installation on door architraves where larger readers will not fit. It can also be mounted directly to metal surfaces, such as door frames and turnstiles, with no diverse effect on the reader's operation, along with back to back mounting without the concerns of false reads from the wrong device.
The PAC Mifare® Access Reader is a low profile, robust epoxy filled unit that is built to withstand the harshest of environments and operations. It can be installed in new sites or as an upgraded reader to existing proximity access control systems.
The reader incorporates a red/green LED and buzzer that can be configured within the security system to provide visual and audible feedback for confirmation on access control modes.
